ContactLifeline of Delaware is seeking a full-time coordinator for the Sexual Assault Network of Delaware (SAND), a sexual assault victim advocacy coalition. The coordinator is responsible for coordinating coalition meetings, event planning, researching public policy, drafting position papers, and tracking related local and national legislation. The incumbent also develops public education material and leads and participates in related committees and coalitions.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate superior interpersonal and communication skills, a proven track record of effective networking activities, and a passion for victim rights and advocacy. The candidate should also show evidence of knowledge and understanding of public policy, legislative processes, and legal issues pertaining to sexual assault. The successful candidate will also maintain a flexible schedule to assure 24/7 sexual assault services coverage and become qualified to serve as a Sexual Assault Specialist. The position requires a Masterís degree, is based in Wilmington, DE and requires some regional travel.
